Hijabi Style's Stylin' Sisters: Ariba's Pakistani-American Hijab Fashion Looks

This Stylin' Sister caught my eye with her unique sense of fashion and ability to mix different styles across a multi-cultural spectrum creating a gorgeous look all her own! Ariba's look is elegant, classy and hip. I love her style!

Ariba on her hijab style: "My Hijab Style is inspired by many things. I like to be creative with it--layering, mixing and matching, and trying new things. But one thing I absolutely love to do is come up with new hijab styles for Pakistani clothes. The designs are so unique, I love playing around with hijab styles until I get a perfect match!"

Hijabi Style's Stylin' Sisters: Syeda Asma

Our new column Stylin' Sisters - these are proud Hijabi's that ive met in my day to day life. These Sister's have great style and i just thought id share them with you!

Sister Syeda Asma: "i started wearing the hijab about 10 months ago..so im fairly new to the concept and my only regret is why i didn't start earlier..Alhamdulillah! My style is dependent upon my mood...but no matter what i always try to keep myself looking up-to-date...essentials to making any outfit stylish: some chic sunglasses..a nice handbag..and at least one piece of jewelry...my favorite is layering different bracelets and bangles!"

Conditions for Women's Hijab

Everything but the hands and face should be covered - including your feet :)
Don't forget to cover your hair and bustline!
Clothing should be wide and loose so as to obscure your figure. This is most easily accomplished by wearing something OVER your regular clothing.
Clothing must not be see-thru.
Clothing must not attract attention - i.e. avoid loud colors, bold designs, sparkles etc...
Clothing shouldnt be that which only men traditionally wear...enjoy being a woman!
Avoid make-up and noisy, visible jewelry - you're pretty enough...don't make it harder for people! :)
No perfume - I'm sure you already smell great!
Clothing should not resemble solely that which non-Muslims wear. - Sorry, no Daisy Dukes in public!
Hijab isnt just a dress code, its a mindset! Your beauty isnt only skin deep! Be modest in your behavior as well. Remember this isnt just a protection for you as a person, this is an act of worship. :)
